I’ve never been a massive fan of football.
I support whichever team my kids play for and I am a VERY vocal supporter – sometimes much to the disgust of my offspring and the ref!
Working with a premiership football club I’ve been extremely lucky to experience a fair few games of football in fabulous stadiums.
If you’ve only ever watched a game of football on TV let me assure you that you can’t begin to imagine the effect an electric atmosphere full of raw emotion and incredible noise can have on you. It doesn’t matter if you don’t support one of the teams playing – it’s mesmerising, it’s ‘the nuts’.
Assuming you’re English how can you not be behind England competing for any accolade. The World Cup even has my mum excited and she’s 71!
True getting married is an important day, and you want it to be perfect but why spoil it by making demands that you know are just not going to be met. You’re asking for trouble, embrace it, venture outside your comfort zone and try something new – you might just like it, and we might just win! There were brides who did embrace the footie and credit to them.
